Meet the Owner

Seneca Custom Stonework is owned by Liam Dickson. Liam is known for being incredibly picky about his work, ensuring everything is built to last a lifetime and going above and beyond on details, particularly ensuring each cut is precise. Liam has over a decade of experience in hardscaping and stonework, as well as time in commercial construction. This background has given Liam a comprehensive understanding of each project's unique challenges and opportunities.

Unique Experiences

We have had unique opportunities arise throughout the years. None so unique as the opportunity to split a 60,000lbs Gneiss boulder and create a retaining wall with it, as well as a small interior dry-stack wall. The photos don’t do the boulders justice, as they are roughly the size of a box truck. Spending days drilling holes and using a feather and a wedge to split the boulders over and over. This project embodies our philosophy in pushing boundaries with stonework. We love it when we can build a dry-stack wall or an interior wall, both using stones found on the property.
